Pumpkin Smoothies

Serves 2

Vegan, Gluten Free, Soy Free, Dairy Free


Ingredients

1 cup pumpkin puree

1½ cups almond, oat, coconut, or hemp milk (use more milk if needed to reach desired consistency)

2-3 Medjool dates, pitted

1 tablespoon maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

½ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until combined. If desired, add a handful of ice cubes or enjoy as is.

Notes

  • This can be heated and enjoyed hot.

  • It’s always best to “chew” your smoothies to help activate your digestion. Chewing signals your brain to trigger the saliva necessary to break down your food.
