Pumpkin Smoothies
Serves 2
Vegan, Gluten Free, Soy Free, Dairy Free
Ingredients
1 cup pumpkin puree
1½ cups almond, oat, coconut, or hemp milk (use more milk if needed to reach desired consistency)
2-3 Medjool dates, pitted
1 tablespoon maple syrup (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
½ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until combined. If desired, add a handful of ice cubes or enjoy as is.
Notes
This can be heated and enjoyed hot.
It’s always best to “chew” your smoothies to help activate your digestion. Chewing signals your brain to trigger the saliva necessary to break down your food.
