Protein Boosters
Collagen: Animal-derived protein that supports joints, skin, hair, nails, and gut lining. Use a grass-fed source for purity and potency.
Vegan Protein Powder: Plant-based blends (pea, hemp, pumpkin seed, brown rice, etc.) can round out your smoothie while keeping it vegan and digestion-friendly.
Whey Protein: A complete dairy-based protein rich in amino acids. Choose grass-fed, non-denatured whey if you tolerate dairy.
Nutrition Notes
Sunflower Shoots are rich in chlorophyll, enzymes, and trace minerals — they’re like a multivitamin straight from the earth.
Blueberries are high in antioxidants, which help reduce inflammation and protect your brain.
Hempseeds offer a perfect ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids, supporting brain and heart health.
Digest This Thoughtfully
Smoothies, while nourishing, can sneak in a lot of natural sugars. Balancing fruit with healthy fats (like almond butter), protein, and greens (like sunflower shoots) helps stabilize energy and prevent crashes.
And chew your smoothie. Saliva is the first step of digestion. When you chew, you activate enzymes that help your body break down and absorb nutrients. It also gives your brain a moment to catch up and register satiety.
So pause. Sip slowly. Chew mindfully. Let this be a moment of nourishment.
