Chimichurri

A fresh herb sauce that brings people to the table.

Perfect on grilled meats, roasted vegetables, fish, eggs, sandwiches, and more!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped

  • 1 cup green onions, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar

  • 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Chop the herbs, green onions, and garlic finely.

  2. Combine herbs, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, and crushed red pepper in a bowl.

  3. Mix with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  4. Let marinate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

  5. Serve and enjoy!

Serving Suggestions

  • Spoon over grilled steak, chicken, or fish

  • Drizzle on roasted vegetables or potatoes

  • Stir into grain bowls or salads

  • Spread on sandwiches or wraps

  • Top fried or scrambled eggs

  • Serve with warm artisan bread
